The Ankara Chamber of Industry provides services in the field of “Provision of Chamber of Industry Services” within the framework of the Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Law. In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, the Chamber undertakes to protect confidentiality, integrity, and all physical and electronic information assets, including but not limited to personal data.
Information security requirements will be continuously improved in alignment with our institutional objectives. Within this scope, the Chamber’s management will ensure the employment of competent, well-trained personnel who are open to change and will maintain adequate hardware and infrastructure resources.
Business continuity and emergency plans, data backup procedures, protection against viruses and cyberattacks, access control systems, and information security breach notification mechanisms constitute the cornerstones of our operations. Through risk assessment activities, identified vulnerabilities and threats will be mitigated in order to ensure secure access to the information of our members and employees.
To ensure continuity within this framework:
- Objectives will be determined based on risk assessments, and the necessary resources and conditions required to achieve these objectives will be provided.
- In line with our goal of integrating the requirements of the Information Security Management System into the working culture of our employees, all personnel and relevant third-party stakeholders will be provided with appropriate Information Security Management System training.
- Applicable information security requirements, technological developments, and the opportunities and obligations arising from such developments will be fulfilled, and implemented measures will be continuously improved. In addition, the Chamber, its employees, and all relevant parties will be supported in adapting to these developments.
Our Information Security Policy will be reviewed annually, or immediately in the event of significant changes affecting the Chamber, with the participation of management and department representatives in order to ensure its suitability, accuracy, effectiveness, and continued relevance.
