Financial Management and Affiliates Directorate

The Directorate ensures that the resources, activities, and services of the Chamber, its subsidiaries, and affiliates are managed and carried out effectively, economically, and efficiently in accordance with the relevant legislation, defined objectives and policies, established standards, and legal regulations, based on the principles of accountability and financial transparency. It carries out accounting and budgeting operations within the framework of Articles 23, 24, and 26 of the Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Law, as well as the provisions of the Regulation on the Determination and Payment of Registration Fees, Annual Membership Fees and Additional Fees, and the Budget and Accounting Regulation.

The Directorate consists of two coordinatorships operating in the fields of Financial Management and Affiliates.

Financial Management Coordinatorship

The Coordinatorship prepares budgets, tariffs, and schedules and submits reports to the relevant governing bodies. It coordinates the activities of the Accounts Review Commission. It maintains banking transactions and accounting records for the monitoring of project accounts. It carries out the accrual and follow-up procedures for registration fees, annual membership fees, and additional membership fees, as well as the collection processes for document and service fees.

The Coordinatorship records invoice accruals and payments, monitors current accounts, and records payments made through banks, online systems, and cash transactions. It is responsible for preparing monthly declarations, ensuring the timely payment of taxes and insurance obligations, preparing payrolls and salary payments, and carrying out insurance-related procedures.

In addition, the Coordinatorship monitors and ensures the timely payment of the Chamber’s membership fees to external institutions and organizations, manages bank deposits, and carries out procedures related to movable and immovable properties. It is also responsible for archiving contracts and protocols signed by the Chamber with institutions and organizations.

Affiliates Coordinatorship

The Affiliates Coordinatorship is responsible for ensuring the coordinated execution of activities and procedures related to subsidiaries, affiliates, and partnerships established or participated in by the Ankara Chamber of Industry with the aim of enhancing the international competitiveness and export-oriented structure of Ankara industry.

 

The Coordinatorship monitors accounting operations and reporting processes, coordinates preparations for general assembly meetings, follows up decisions taken by relevant boards, oversees the financial aspects of contracts and protocols signed with institutions and organizations, and ensures the coordinated management of activities carried out within the operational fields of affiliates and partnerships.
