Information Technologies Directorate
The Information Technologies Directorate establishes the “Information Technologies” policy of the Ankara Chamber of Industry, monitors technological developments, reviews the policy when necessary, informs the Chamber management accordingly, and carries out the activities required by the policy. For this purpose, the Directorate performs planning, investment, and development activities in the field of information technologies.
Software and Hardware Operations
The Information Technologies Directorate conducts activities related to the development and procurement of software designed to provide computer support for Chamber personnel and determines the required software specifications. By carrying out market research, the Directorate identifies commercially available software solutions that meet the expected functions, procures and adapts suitable solutions to the Chamber’s structure, and develops software internally when no appropriate ready-made solution is available.
The “ASO Automation System,” developed through these efforts, provides computer support for the Chamber’s registry, capacity reporting, industrial operations, member dues, accounting, personnel, and document management systems.
Internet Applications
In parallel with developments in information technologies, the Ankara Chamber of Industry also carries out internet-based service applications. Through the web pages developed for this purpose, announcements for members and summaries of the Official Gazette are published.
