Emphasizing that the determination and hope carried by young people are the strongest assurances for Türkiye’s future, President Ardıç stated that the youth have significant responsibilities in production, entrepreneurship, and technological transformation.
ASO President Seyit Ardıç met with university students during the “Business Life, Entrepreneurship, and Career” talk organized at Gaziantep University İslahiye Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Expressing his satisfaction at meeting with young people in İslahiye, one of the regions most severely affected by the February 6 earthquakes, President Ardıç noted that despite the difficult circumstances, the perseverance and determination demonstrated by young people strengthen hopes for the future.
During his speech, President Ardıç also shared examples from his own professional experiences, stating that responsibility undertaken at an early age, perseverance, and determination form the foundation of success. Emphasizing that entrepreneurship is not merely about starting a business, Ardıç highlighted the importance of correctly identifying needs, producing solutions, and taking bold steps.
Pointing out that industry plays a critical role in a country’s independence and sustainable development, President Ardıç stated that increasing production capacity is of vital importance for Türkiye’s future.
Noting that the world is undergoing a rapid transformation, President Ardıç emphasized that technology and artificial intelligence are fundamentally reshaping business life, and that individuals who continuously improve themselves and adapt to change will stand out in this new era. President Ardıç commented:
“Artificial intelligence is a great opportunity for those who are prepared, but a serious threat for those who are not.”
Stating that creating differentiation in global competition depends on value-added production and branding, President Ardıç said:
“Producing products keeps you standing, but producing brands carries you to the world stage.”
President Ardıç advised young people to continuously improve themselves, remain open to change, and create value through innovative thinking, adding:
“If you do what everyone else does, you become only as good as everyone else. To make a difference, you must think differently. Continuously improve yourselves and remain open to change. Because in this new era, those who will stand out are those who learn, renew themselves, and act courageously.”
President Ardıç also highlighted the importance of being trustworthy in business life, developing expertise in a specific field, taking risks courageously, and learning from mistakes. Emphasizing that patience, discipline, and perseverance are decisive on the road to success, Ardıç stated:
“Invest in yourselves. Be trustworthy. Know a little about everything, but know one thing very well. Failure does not destroy you; failing to learn anything from failure does. You are this country’s greatest asset.”
President Ardıç noted that meeting with young people in İslahiye, one of the regions most affected by the February 6 earthquakes, held special significance for him, while also emphasizing the spirit of solidarity that emerged after the disaster.
“The greatest strength of these lands is the people who can rise again after every hardship. The hope and determination I see in our young people here today are our greatest assurance for the future of our country,” said Ardıç, emphasizing that young people are the most important force that will build Türkiye’s future.
At the end of the program, Ardıç answered students’ questions and stated that meeting with young people provided him with great motivation.
President Ardıç also thanked Gaziantep University İslahiye Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Taner Akçacı, faculty member Dr. Uygar Dursun Yıldırım, academics, and students for their invitation to the program.
