ACI CHAIRMAN ARDIÇ: ANKARA AND TÜRKİYE INDUSTRY WILL BE THE WINNERS
The election of Assembly and Committee Members, the first stage of the Ankara Chamber of Industry’s 18th Term elections, was held. In the elections, where 265 professional committee members, including 112 assembly members, were determined across 41 professional groups, ACI Chairman Seyit Ardıç cast his vote at the ballot box of Professional Committee No. 12 for the Glass and Glass Products Industry.
After casting his vote, ACI Chairman Seyit Ardıç stated that the election took place in a festive atmosphere and said:
“Today, we are holding our organ elections in our industrialists’ own home, our Ankara Chamber of Industry. We will determine 112 assembly members and 153 committee members across 41 professional groups. Our President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, has a very valuable saying: ‘There is mercy in unity and hardship in separation.’ As the Ankara Chamber of Industry, we are an institution that has adopted this understanding as a guiding principle. Today, we are seeing the finest example of this in our elections. We are holding our organ elections in unity and solidarity, almost in a festive atmosphere. The winners of these elections will be Ankara industry and Türkiye industry. I would like to thank all our industrialists with whom we have walked together in the previous term for their efforts and contributions, and express my gratitude. I also wish success to our friends who will work with us in the new term and who are taking part in today’s election race. Hopefully, in the new term, we will continue to work for Ankara and Türkiye industry with the same spirit of unity and solidarity.”
While 41 ballot boxes were set up for the elections held at the ACI Service Building, the second stage will be held on October 9, 2026, after the results of the elections are finalized. In the second stage of the elections, the Chairman and Members of the Board of Directors, as well as the Assembly Presidential Council, Disciplinary Board and TOBB General Assembly delegates will be determined.
